Pursues a Disabled Sports USA Chapter for San Antonio TX
SAN ANTONIO, TX – September 16, 2018 – SRG Force Sports today announces that it has launched an initiative to establish a Disabled Sports USA (DSUSA) Chapter in San Antonio TX. DSUSA is an organization that serves over 60,000 youth, wounded warriors and adults through a nationwide network of over 120 community-based chapters in more than 40 states. DSUSA offers over 50 different sports, including alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, kayaking, water skiing, sailing, scuba, surfing, rafting, outrigger canoeing, fishing, hiking, golf, athletics, archery, cycling, running/wheeling, rock climbing, equestrian and others.
DSUSA’s mission is to provide national leadership and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence, and fitness through participation in community sports, recreation and educational programs. DSUSA’s is to ensure everyone, regardless of ability, has equal opportunity to participate in sports and recreation.

Since 1967, DSUSA has focused on one goal: To improve the lives of wounded warriors, youth and adults with disabilities by providing sports and recreation opportunities. Historically, DSUSA or Adaptive sports began as a means to rehabilitate veterans from World War II, Korea, and the Vietnam War. Today, DSUSA serves both civilians and the latest military who have sustained permanent physically disabling injuries while in Iraq and across the globe.
